Unlike many beverage shops that extract tea using espresso machines, our tea is brewed with LION—a professional extraction machine custom-developed for CHICHA San Chen over two years.
To achieve both aesthetics and functionality, we repeatedly refined every detail.
The machine features an open-frame design, an intelligent touch panel, and precise presets tailored for each type of tea we serve.
To bring out the unique character and flavor of our six signature tea bases, LION was engineered with functions dedicated specifically to tea. Using high-temperature pressurized extraction, the machine allows finely ground tea and hot water to release the full essence of the tea instantly—ensuring minimal variation from cup to cup.
Through countless rounds of testing, we developed exclusive parameters and ratios for each tea variety so that every extraction captures the fragrance, sweetness, and lingering finish inherent in the leaves.
